Frontend Engineer · Syracuse, NY
Dylan Foster
I build interfaces that feel fast, read clearly, and hold up under real use.
Modern JavaScript and TypeScript, design systems, and the performance and accessibility work that separates a demo from a product. Ruby, Rails, and the old front of the stack before that.
A live peek-in on gigapet — a headless generative pet I'm building.
About
I care about the details that make software feel considered — type that sets well, layouts that don't fight the content, and interactions that respond at the speed of thought.
I work most at home in the browser: design systems, performance, and the accessibility work that separates a demo from a product. Outside the editor I keep a small grey-and-white dog who supervises all of it, and I run a home lab — a couple of Raspberry Pis and a GPU box serving self-hosted services, including the chat app above, out of fosterdill.com.
